The Struggle For Existence vs. The Race To Reproduce (Third Year BFA 2011)

“This body of work has stemmed from my previous explorations into pollination ecology and symbiotic relationships. Aspects of zoology, entomology and botany inform my work however they do not bind it. I am offering a pseudo view on the struggle for existence vs. the race to reproduce. In an unseen world, nature is in full control, yet in these images, a romantic approach has been applied, blurring the lines between science and surrealism.”
