An exhibition for the Festival of Flowers, curated by Dr. Warren Feeney, 2014.
“Sharnae Beardsley’s meticulous paintings of flora and fauna share much in common with 19th century botanical studies of plants and native species. Yet they remain conscious of the way in which such traditions of recording the natural world provide evidence of an intuitive need within humanity to order and comprehend nature and the universe. Beardsley was the winner of the Arts Gold Award in Alexandra in 2013 and has work in private collections throughout New Zealand”. -Warren Feeney
